The Green Zoo Wuppertal offers around 3500 animals from all continents - lions, monkeys, penguins. There is also something for the little ones - in the Junior Zoo, the little visitors can groom and pet the animals and help to clean the enclosure! CHILD POLICY: Children up to 5.9 years enjoy free entry. Children 6-14.9 years pay 1.70 euros admission. The fairytale forest of Altenberg...a fairytale excursion destination and has been for 90 years! In the fairytale forest you have the opportunity to experience the stories and mythical creatures in person on a hike through the nature of the Bergisches Land. Characters from 18 fairy tales by the Brothers Grimm have found a home along the fairy tale path and are waiting in their little houses to tell their stories to the approaching visitors.
